With a maximum payload capacity of 11 lbs (4.99kg), you can easily balance your camera and other accessories for smooth and precise tracking. The mount body is made of durable all-metal construction, ensuring stability and longevity. The SkyGuider Pro features a 35mm diameter RA shaft and an 88mm diameter worm wheel with 144 teeth, both made of high-quality materials for reliable performance.
The R.A. worm has a diameter of 15.2mm and is made of brass for enhanced durability. Equipped with a DC servo motor with an optical encoder, this mount offers automatic tracking on the R.A. axis.
It supports various tracking speeds, including Solar, Lunar, Cel, 1/2 Cel, and N/S, allowing you to capture different celestial objects with ease. Additionally, the mount has a fast slew speed of 144X in both forward and reverse directions. For precise guiding, the SkyGuider Pro is ST-4 compatible, enabling you to connect guiding cameras without any hassle. The included AccuAlign dark field illuminated polar scope provides a 6-degree field of view, making polar alignment a breeze. With the built-in camera trigger, you can easily capture stunning images without any motion blur.
The hand controller (optional 8408 HC) allows for convenient control of the mount's functions. The SkyGuider Pro operates on an internal rechargeable battery, providing up to 20 hours of continuous operation at 20 degrees Celsius. You can easily charge the battery via the micro USB port, with an 80% charge achieved in just 5 hours. The camera mounting block has a diameter of 62mm and a 3/8 post thread, ensuring compatibility with various camera models. The mount's body base connection features a Vixen dovetail and a 3/8 socket (1/4 converter included) for versatile mounting options. The included Alt-Azi adjustable base, with a Vixen-style saddle and a 3/8 socket, allows for easy alignment and adjustment of the mount.
The base has a diameter of 80mm, providing stability and support. The SkyGuider Pro offers a latitude adjustment range of -30 to 65 degrees (with alt-azi base) and an azimuth adjustment range of +/-5 degrees. The built-in level indicator ensures accurate leveling for optimal performance. Included with the mount is a counterweight shaft (20 x 200mm) with 3/8-16 threads and a 1.35kg (2.98 lbs) counterweight. These accessories help to balance the mount and minimize vibrations during operation. Firmware upgrades can be easily done via the USB port, ensuring that you always have the latest features and improvements.
With an operation temperature range of -10 to 40 degrees Celsius, the SkyGuider Pro is capable of handling various weather conditions. Measuring at just 133 x 115 x 95mm (5.24 x 4.53 x 3.74 inches) without the alt-azi base, the SkyGuider Pro is a portable and travel-friendly option.
