Hellwig Helpers Editorial Review

** Hellwig 985 EZ-990 Helper Spring Kit** The Hellwig 985 EZ-990 Helper Spring Kit has garnered positive reception among truck owners looking to enhance their vehicle’s load-bearing capabilities. Reviewers commonly appreciate its ease of installation, particularly for those who possess basic mechanical skills. Most users report a noticeable improvement in the handling and stability of their trucks, especially when loaded with moderate to heavy cargo, effectively reducing rear-end squat and improving front-end handling dynamics. Contrary to concerns about the rider's comfort, many users have noted that the added stiffness does not lead to a jarring experience; instead, it contributes to a stronger and more stable driving feel. Additionally, the system helps mitigate issues such as double bounces and porpoising when towing, making it a valuable upgrade for those regularly hauling trailers or heavy items. Despite its strengths, a few users did express that while the kit helps to reduce sagging, it does not always maintain a perfect level of elevation under different loads. Some found the adjustment mechanism a bit cumbersome since it requires access under the truck, which could deter those who prefer a more user-friendly adjustment system. Nevertheless, the maintenance-free aspect of the springs is a significant plus, and the overall affordability of the product makes it an attractive option for many. In summary, the Hellwig 985 EZ-990 Helper Spring Kit stands out as a reliable and sensible enhancement for truck owners seeking to improve their vehicle's load capacity and ride quality without breaking the bank. **
