Who are the main cast members in Speed?

The principal cast of Speed features Keanu Reeves as Officer Jack Traven, Sandra Bullock as Annie Porter, and Dennis Hopper as the villainous bomber, Howard Payne. Reeves delivers a charismatic performance as a determined cop, while Bullock shines as the quick-thinking bus passenger. Their on-screen chemistry adds depth to the film, driving both the plot and the emotional stakes. Great performances from a talented ensemble solidify the film's status as a classic in action cinema.

What special features can I expect on the Speed Blu-ray?

The Speed Blu-ray typically includes an array of special features such as behind-the-scenes documentaries, commentary tracks from the filmmakers, and deleted scenes. Blu-ray delivers enhanced picture quality compared to standard DVDs, with vibrant colors and sharper images that enhance the viewing experience. Yes, a sequel titled 'Speed 2: Cruise Control' was released in 1997, featuring a different story and cast, with Sandra Bullock reprising her role. However, it did not achieve the same acclaim as its predecessor, mainly due to its departure from the original’s formula. While some may enjoy seeing familiar faces in a new plot, many fans consider the original Speed to be a standalone classic deserving of appreciation on its own merits.
