The Dremel EZ407SA EZ Drum Sanding Band and Mandrel is a handy tool for changing between sanding drums with ease. Users can lift up the blue cylinder and slide sanding bands on, then push down to snap it into place. Despite being advertised as an EZ Drum, some customers found it difficult to hold the band in place, and the band would move up and down on the tool, even when locked in, particularly when under heavy use. It is recommended for light work, but not heavy grinding. Customers suggest using Dremel sanding bands made for this tool, as they fit properly and won't slip off. It does fit on most rotary tools that accept a 1/8" diameter bit.
