répondre: For a 250 L tank you need 5 L - for a 500 L tank you need 10 L -

Am I supposed to put gravel on top of this?
répondre: I cap mine with Limpopo black sand. I’m not sure if gravel, being heavier, would drop through and end up mixed in with the Tropical substrate. Just remember that if you cap it with something lighter in colour, that if you decide to move your plants around your aquarium, there is the potential for the dirt substrate to be pulled to the surface. Also, if you don’t cap it, and if you have catfish or other bottom dwelling fish, they will end up raising little clouds of dirt into the water column ever time the root about. It’s a great substrate but I would recommend capping it with something. -
